Michael Grant refers to several people, but most commonly to the American YA author of the Gone series (born 1954) and the English classicist/historian (1914–2004), known for translations like Annals of Imperial Rome; there's also a crime writer Michael Grant (born 1940) and an Arizona TV host Michael Grant (1951–2024). The YA author writes with his wife Katherine Applegate (Animorphs) and separately, while the classicist was a prolific academic historian.
