Elizabeth McNeill was the pseudonym for Austrian-American author Ingeborg Day (1940-2011), famous for her memoir Nine and a Half Weeks, detailing a passionate affair, which became a well-known film; she was a writer and actress, publishing her memoir under the McNeill name before later revealing her true identity.
