Books Included in This Collection:
Moominvalley In November
Winter nears and the Moomins await their return, while the Fillyjonk, the Hemulen, Toft, and the Mymble prepare for the long layover in Moominvalley. This volume blends gentle suspense with cozy, character-driven humor as friends and family brace for the seasonal shift. Jansson’s wintry atmosphere and understated wisdom invite readers to slow down, notice small details, and find warmth even when days grow cold. It’s a tender invitation to reflect on home, belonging, and the quiet courage of coming back to those you love.

The Exploits Of Moominpappa
Here at last is Moominpappa’s promised life story—an affectionate, humorous self-portrait of a father who once found himself abandoned in a newspaper parcel on a doorstep. The exploits recount how he learned to make a home for his family, the mischief and wonder of early adventures, and the timeless questions about purpose and belonging. It’s a witty, reflective companion to the family’s ongoing adventures and a gentle meditation on memory and identity.

Finn Family Moomintroll
This is the classic opener for many readers: a world where small, shy creatures discover that even the ordinary holds extraordinary possibilities. Moominpappa’s new magic hat triggers a cascade of curious events, from playful mischief to surprising discoveries about friendship and courage. The book’s warm humor, inventive imagery, and subtle philosophies invite readers to imagine boldly while celebrating the quirks that make every Moomin a friend worth keeping.

Moominsummer Madness
A hot day in June unleashes a chain of curious events: ash from a distant volcano sulks on washing lines, a crack opens in the ground, and a toothbrush slips into the earth’s yawning depths. The palette shifts to sunlit chaos and comic peril, all balanced by family love and communal resilience. It’s a sun-drenched adventure with a wink of mischief and a heart full of tenderness.

Comet In Moominland
Moomintroll and his friend Sniff set out to learn the truth about a looming comet, meeting professors, hypotheses, and the beauty of curiosity along the way. The quest blends science with whimsy, inviting readers to question and explore while savoring the warmth of companionship. It’s a charming celebration of wonder, responsibility, and the power of asking questions together.

Moominpappa at Sea
Moominpappa searches for meaning after previous chapters have closed, seeking purpose in a solitary life at sea. The book explores renewal, creativity, and the stubborn hope that one’s best work can still lie ahead. It’s a quietly uplifting tale about resilience, adaptation, and the comfort of returning to a familiar place with fresh eyes.

Tales From Moominvalley
When a tiny golden dragon with green paws arrives, Moomintroll confronts the idea of responsibility and care. The story blends whimsy with a gentle moral compass, inviting readers to reflect on what it means to welcome the unfamiliar and learn from unintended consequences. It’s a playful, thoughtful collection of vignettes that deepen the world’s imagined lore.

Moominland Midwinter
In a season when many creatures dream of sleep, the Moomins awaken to new questions and a sense of quiet awe. The winter landscape becomes a stage for introspection, discovery, and a reassuring sense of belonging. This volume captures the hush and wonder of winter and the courage to face the new day with curiosity and kindness.
