About the Author:

Paru Itagaki (born 1993) is a celebrated Japanese manga artist famous for creating the award-winning anthropomorphic series Beastars, known for its deep exploration of society through animal characters, and she's the daughter of fellow mangaka Keisuke Itagaki (creator of Baki). A private person, she also created Beast Complex and Sanda, winning major awards like the Manga Taishō and Kodansha Manga Award for Beastars.
