About the Author:

Neal Shusterman is a prolific, award-winning American author known for young adult dystopian fiction like the Unwind series and Arc of a Scythe, alongside other fantasy, horror, and realistic novels such as Challenger Deep (National Book Award winner), and has also written screenplays for TV. Born in Brooklyn in 1962, he studied psychology and theater at UC Irvine before moving to Los Angeles, starting in entertainment, and quickly finding success in publishing for children, teens, and adults.
