Kanehito Yamada is a Japanese manga author best known for writing the acclaimed fantasy series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Sōsō no Frieren), illustrated by Tsukasa Abe and serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020. The series won the 14th Manga Taishō award in 2021.
