About the Author:
Matsuri Hino was born in Sapporo, Japan. Little is known about her early life, but she debuted in the manga industry in 1995, in an issue of LaLa DX with a one shot manga Ko No Yume ga Same Tara.
In 1999, Hino released the manga Captive Hearts which ran until 2002, followed by the series Meru Puri which was released in four volumes. In 2004, Vampire Knight was released, this would become her most well known work. Vampire Knight officially ended in 2013, with 19 volumes. It was also adapted into an anime series with two seasons, Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty.
